Respektive vse mam zkonfigurovano a email stejne nedorazi.
uzivatel na ktereho se email posila existuje a ma vyplnen email.
trigger nastaven a funguje
email se posila 7x24...

Here's what I'm trying to do : I have 2 log files on a server that I need to monitor. One of them is called ok_.log and the other nok_.log

In the ok_.log file, I write lines everytime a specific operation succeeds. For example :

im using zabbix 3.4 on docker

i have an issue where the i try to log monitor but theres an issue because the log file changes every day,
it looks like that :

/var/log/logfile.log.5456454

now i have tried * at the end or [0-9] but it doesnt...

Is there any tool or way to count all error logs from server.log files that were created during the last month? Logs are saved daily in a separate file.

Hi everyone.

I've noticed that the file used in SNMPTrapperFile (zabbix_server.conf) keeps growing, and I've found no option to limit its size.

Is it possible to limit its size?

BTW, I'm using

SNMPTrapperFile = /tmp/zabbix_traps.tmp

I have such situation.
I need to monitor log files in Win.
So I have a directory where application put's log files. But there is a issue, that application creates new log file for each launch session. So there is always new log files in directory.

I have been trying to get log file monitoring to work for over a week now.

I have searched the forums as much as I could and read the online manual.


Here is what I have setup for the item:

type: zabbix agent(active)

1. I'm totally new to Ubuntu and Zabbix
2. we have successfully (we feel) installed and configured Zabbix 1.6.4 server on Ubuntu and agents on Windows servers and desktops
3. we can see all relevant ports are open
4. no new data is coming into Zabbix server (not even the local agent...
