I have a python script defined in a media type and am using the {ALERT.MESSAGE} macro to pass arguments for the script.

When this is triggered in zabbix it sends the entire string of arguments as one argument to the script.

Contents of message are:

Ive downloaded a template for an HP5406zl switch which includes some examples for monitoring port traffic.

When i set one of these examples to an "in use" port on the switch i get a message in the hosts items screen once its processed the item as follows :-
