How to create a trigger with items from different templates?

i have a problem with zabbix. currently i'm using zabbix 1.8.3 and i cannot link templates with hosts.
if i link a host with a template i've got the following error:

i believe that the problem is since the update from zabbix 1.6.x to 1.8.3.

We just upgraded from 1.6.9 to 1.8.2.

When I want to add template linkage to host and save it, I get error:
* Circular link can not be created
* Cannot link template
* Host update failed

It seems to be similar to #zbx-2096 but it should...
