Zapcat and calculated items

I'm trying to graph the data from a Zapcat item so I created a new item (tomcat.bw.in), type calculated, with key

last(machine-name:jmx[Catalina:type=GlobalRequestProcessor,name="ajp-apr-8009"][bytesReceived])

but it doesn't work.

Over the last week or so I've been setting up quite a bit of monitoring using Zapcat and Zabbix. One of the current frustrations is that two separate hosts have to be created: one for the Zabbix agent and another for the Zapcat agent.

The zabbix_agent listens on port 10050 and zapcat listens on port 10052 for Tomcat and Jboss.

I have enjoyed using Zapcat with Zabbix. The standard Tomcat export from Zapcat and import from Zabbix works well and I can actually see the MBean attributes in Zabbix for all the MBean attributes I set up for the Tomcat host that gets created for you during the import process.
