Zabbix on the go for Android

I've posted an alternative Zabbix client on the Android Market featuring a background service to check host status and alert in case of troubles and of course a client to view the detailed items and triggers.

Remote acknowledges are not working yet as there seems to be a permission check issue on the API side (at least in 1.8.1).

The alerts, data in the dashboard, graphs and maps would be very useful.

Enable API access for the user you're connecting with.
That means adding the API group to that user.

I tested this shortly with 1.8.3 and a HTC Desire Z:
* notifications brings up old notifications over and over again so I get alerts every 5 mins.

Can anyone replicate this?

How is this app working?
I have never been able to come further than filling the URL and getting an 'invalid params'.

I have had many implementations on my HTC HD2 (currently gingerbread) and this is the only application that gives me trouble.

Both my private zabbix-server and the zabbix-server at work don't work.
Both servers are now running 1.8.4, but they were 1.8.3 and 1.8.1 before.

Why is the author not reacting in any way?
