IPMI Template For IBM Integrated Management Module

I have made a template for monitoring IBM servers supplied with Integrated Management Module (IMM) via IPMI protocol. It has data elements and graphs for fan speeds, power consumption and ambient temperature. Tested on IBM System x 3550 servers.

Configuration station in Zabbix for IMM Monitoring

Could you write more information about configuration host in Zabbix for IMM monitoring.

          IPMI for IBM

I have a zabbix server on IBM x3250 and I can connect to IMM on it through http://address (user: admin, password: pass).
I have created host on zabbix, set use IPMI and defined parameters:
          IPMI IP address: address
          IPMI port: 623
          IPMI authentication algorithm: default
          IPMI privilege level: Admin
          IPMI username: admin
          IPMI password: pass
But I can not get information from IMM.
What parameters I have to correctly set on host in zabbix and on IMM IBM server?
          DJack

I use the same settings on my x3550 except username and password and it works.

Did you set some parameters on IBM server (like TCP port)?
Because on my IMM server I can see in "Port Assignments" message:
"Currently, the following ports are open on this IMM:
              22, 23, 80, 161, 162, 443, 3900, 5988, 6012

I can not see that port 623 is open.

No I didn't. Everything worked out of the box. Did you enter the same username and password as in the IMM web page? Default IMM username and password differ from those you specified. They are USERID and PASSW0RD with zero instead of capital letter O in the password.

                  Set StartIPMIPollers=1 at zabbix_server.conf
                  By default set = 0.

                    It don't work on x3650 M3

I think x3650 M3 IMM not support IPMI, I can't find the location of IPMI configuration on the IMM console, and the port 623 is not available.

Here is a new template for IBM System x3550 with more parameters. It is generated with the help of scripts published here http://www.tune-it.ru/web/tiamat/home/-/blogs/17465. I didn't test the template because I currently have no access to the management module from my Zabbix machine.

I have noticed that analog IPMI sensors are not supported by Zabbix, so it is better to disable or remove them from the template.

If I understand your question correct, IBM IMM module in x3550 supports IPMI and Zabbix can read IPMI data from it.
