I've discovered it necessary to edit Alexander Bakaldins excellent Lexmark template to accommodate my Source Technologies re-branded Lexmark monochrome printer.
I'm not sure if this is a difference between Lexmark and Source, a difference between generic and device-specific OIDs, or a bug in the template, but it appears "Imaging Unit Level" (and "Capacity") OIDs have been switched with "Toner print level (black cartridge)" (and "Capacity")
I started with the template template_lexmark_printer-ms826de_(mono) from https://github.com/zabbix/community-...-ms826de_(mono) and immediately got an alarm om the Imaging Unit Level. The absolute (integer) number didn't make sense so I compared it with the printers' web interface, converted Zabbix reported integer numbers to percentages ("("(level/capacity * 100)") and realized the imaging unit life and toner life OIDs were reversed.
I changed a clone of the template and it looks good.
Again, I don't know whether this is a Lexmark to Source issue, a ms826de to ST9730 issue, or simply a bug in the template. I also am new enough to Zabbix that I don't know how to submit template errata, so I figured I'd post here and solicit feedback.
