    What's wrong ?

Uncomment [#set -x] -> [set -x], try again [./zabora version] and show output.

            Best regards.
I suggest create a special oracle user -- ZABBIX, for getting information from rdbms.

Look in the attached zabora.zip at the ( http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showpost...0&postcount=11 ) zabbix_user.txt -- script of the creation of this user.

                      Monitoring serveral oracle instances

                      Hello,

Zabora works perfectly and is easy to integrate into zabbix agent.

However, what is the best way to monitor several oracle instances?
Is it obligatory to duplicate all items for each instance?

                      Thank you.

                            Zabbix's authorization in Linux

Have anyone had any problem with the permissions on linux?

I have any problem with "sqlplus", because whene I used the script in zabbix-agent It don't work...

I have changed the permission for the zabbix user, but the problem continue...
                            I don't know...

                              Hi

Have you tried to run /opt/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/bin/sqlplus only with the zabbix
                              user account ?

                              What does it return ?

I have tried, and It works with the shell
                                [zabbix@dbtest ~]$ zabbix_agentd -c /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf -t oracle[version]
                                Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.7.3.0 - 64bit Production
because I have add zabbix in the group oinstall...

anyway now I am installing the oracle client, in this way any user (I configure only zabbix user...) can use sqlplus cmd...
Before I have tried to use the oracle's sqlplus...
