    1.8.3rc3 - Slideshow gone nuts!

I have a slide show setup to delay 60 seconds between each slide, but it is flipping every 5 seconds since I did the update about 20min ago. Its in my peripheral vision on the monitoring screen and driving me bonkers!

Are you sure that refresh rate for the individual screens of the slide show is also set to 60 seconds or left default?

How do you set the refresh rate for an individual screen?

The user refresh rate is set to 120 seconds (but I understand this is now ignored for slide shows?).

I have tried different combinations of "Update interval" for the whole slide show and delay between each slide but its constantly rotating at 5 seconds between each slide regardless.

if refresh rate selector in slideshow viewing has an option "120", it's not 1.8.3rc3

Under Configuration and in Slides, "Update interval (in sec)" pull down lists options from 10 - 900, 120 is an option there. I am definitely running 1.8.3rc3.

Edit: Also IRC seems so quiet without you there

Edit2: Just doing some more testing, I created a brand new slide show with exactly the same options and I am not seeing the same problem. Possibly something to check into for others upgrading?

in 1.8.3rc3 refresh rate selector should be in multiples, not absolute seconds (x0.25, x0.5, x1, x2 etc)

I had my morning can of Red Bull and read again what you put, it made more sense then.

The pull down lists 10 - 900 with 120 being the 4th option. I am definitely running 1.8.3rc3.

ahhhh. but that's a dialog for slideshow configuration.
i was referring to the dropdown available in slideshow viewing page instead

Crumbs! That is a hidden option and a half. But explains the problem.

When I was preparing this one request https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-2852 (as I was preparing him for a long time)
I have several times situation arises when the drop-down list of multiplier were not allocated any points at all (that is, even the default multiplier "x1" was not selected) In this case, the slides I'm really at a rate of approximately 5,5 seconds (although the individual values of Delays were considerably more).
I also wanted to publish it in the request but was not able to clearly reproduce the problem.
After cleaning the table "profiles" I could not manage to reproduce the problem.
If the table was empty, then the multiplier is always inserted "x1".

do you have a backup with contents of that table that allow to reproduce the problem ?
that would be a significant help to figure out what might have been going on.

i tried to reproduce by using 1.8.2 first, then 1.8.3 - while initially no multiplier is selected (which might be a minor bug), but after selecting one everything is saved correctly

Do I try to do it?

well, if you can reproduce the problem of not being able to save the multiplier, that would be very nice to fix.
