Simple check: "TCP,Port" not working.

The simple check: "tcp,port" isn't working in beta6.
I just upgraded from beta2.
Running Debian Etch, MySQL 5.0, PHP 5. Zabbix compiled from source.

I get "0" on all my "tcp,port" simple checks. Normal simple checks are working just fine (http, imap etc.).

net.tcp.port[<ip>,port] is not usable since it is not a "SIMPLE check" but "agent check". And the purpose of simple check is to monitor ports where agent is not available.

Another guy has reported this problem with beta5 as well.

can i use this patch also with beta1.8? because i do not get simple tcp probes to run; returns always "0"
