beta8 disabling item in template does not disable it in the host.

When you disable an item in a linked template, that item is not disabled in the host. It's still visible both under that hosts items AND under latest views.
Also, clearing history on those items has no affect. Only deleting the items helps.

It would be good if there was some kind of option to save this change to all linked hosts or only on the template.

If what you are suggesting will be in the next beta, this would be fairly annoying if I decided to update a template to have more "disabled by default" items.

Agreed. I often find myself changing the template because the template is the default.
