    Server log hard to read

    I'm using Zabbix for 3 to 4 years now and it's great.
    But the few times I had to troubleshoot and needed zabbix_server.log I didn't really get any wiser.
    In warning mode it gives way too little info even if things go wrong.
    In Debug mode you get a lot of lines, but when it comes to giving info it comes short.

    At this moment I'm having a problem after an update to the latest trunk.
    There are 2 issues.
    zabbix thinks all my Fritzbox 7390 are unreachable while they are not.
    The Fritzbox 7270 uses the same binary and they are still reported as available.
    Also all my other devices are reported as available.
    Strange.......

    I'm also getting a warning in my server log ever since.
    But I'm missing the info which host is generating this error.. The IP would be enough for me.

    I did a grep -B5 -A5 'Message size' and got this snippet out of the (debug) log....

    is freetz.nm.xs4all generating this error?

    src/libs/zbxcomms/comms.c
    Code:
                    if (ZBX_MAX_RECV_DATA_SIZE < expected_len)
                    {
                            zabbix_log(LOG_LEVEL_WARNING, "Message size " ZBX_FS_UI64 " exceeds the maximum size "
                                            ZBX_FS_UI64 " bytes. Message ignored.", expected_len,
                                            (zbx_uint64_t)ZBX_MAX_RECV_DATA_SIZE);
                            total_bytes = FAIL;
                            goto cleanup;
                    }
    This code could really do with at least the IP address of the culprit.
    Now I have no idea which host is doing this

        I did it this morning.
        Hoping to have this patch soon as I have another issue which is doing my head in and I want to get this resolved first.
