    viewing issues and customizing Tools

    We are evaluating Zabbix for our monitoring solution. I have some questions as to how a NOC would use it.
    Let me know if this is not the right place for these questions.

    In the Triggers window you can acknowledge more than one alert at a time, which is good, but on refresh it doesn't remember the filter setting so you can't just watch that window to see when errors come in. Plus it displays "events" and "triggers", if I understand it right. You can "hide all" events (which seems to hide all Triggers), but you can't acknowledge events, only triggers. I want to view only acknowledgeable issues.
    The Dashboard lists the last 20 issues, but you'd have to ack' them individually.

    What is the "recommended" view for NOC operators?

    Also, is there a way to "customize", or add parameters to scripts that are run through the "Tools" menu for each time its used? (add option based on alert you are responding to)
    And can the Tools be grouped in folders?

    Thanks.
    Overall a very nice looking program.

    1. Click on "Filter" to remember filter settings in "Status of riggers".
    2. I guess U are looking for administration->scripts ?!

      I did click on "Filter". Still refresh resets the listings in the window.
      And yes, Administration -> Scripts.

      Thanks.

        maybe this will help...
        After the refresh and the display goes blank, if I click on the Filter button, not changing anything else, the Group & Host menus change from "all" to a specific group and host, all the the alerts other then that host goes away.
        I then reset group and host back to all and the alerts come back.
        This happen every refresh cycle. Does the Filter button not remember "all"?

          trigger view refresh

          So am I the only one that has an issue with the trigger view at refresh not suing the settings of the filter after hitting "Filter" button?

          Maybe there is something wrong with my install then?
