snmp SET with zabbix

so i can get snmp values using the oid... but is there a way that i can SET a value using snmp oid ??

Not directly.

Probably the best way to go about doing it would be as part of an external action which is tied to a trigger. Trigger activates, external action runs (script) and the oid is set. It may not be pretty but it's the best you can do for now within Zabbix.
