Zabbix certified specialist ?

Hello.

On this forum, I've seen some people with the status of "Zabbix certified specialist". I just would like to know if it's only related to their number of posts on the forum or if there is effectively an official zabbix certification (as there are windows, cisco, solaris.... certifications).

People who has been on a Zabbix training course get that status. Such courses are posted in the Announcements part of the forum.

Actually yes. There is an official Zabbix certification and Alexei Vladishev himself has put that sign under those lucky guys screennames after they have passed certification. So we ordinary people can be envious of theirs good fortune

Thanks to all for your answer. I was interesting by this topic, but taking part to a cours directly on site is not possible for me.
I was wondering if something like that was possible online for example... it seems not.

I tried to see if we could host, but its apparently not very feasible (same type of reason as why we can't get support from a foreign based firm).

But I was told to say that you could mark us down for 4-6 seats if you do hold one in the US.

California would be a good place to start.

I know of at least three, maybe four or five people would would be interested, and that's just in the SF Bay Area. Linux World in San Francisco would be a great place to hold a training.

You have to come to California and do my job for a week while I observe you. Then you will get your sign.

it's not necessary , just need ssh access and i will do what you want .
