PHP 5.1.6 vs 5.2

I've heard that versions before PHP 5.2 can have problems with hosting the Web UI. Is this the case? It works fine for me but I'm working on RPMs that other people use so it matters if users beyond myself may have problems. I'd go with 5.2 anyway but it's not in the default Centos repos or the RPMForge repos. So it's difficult for a Centos user to install and keep patched.

it should work, although there were a couple of problems with zabbix frontend wizard in 1.8 release. 1.8.1 should be pretty much fine.
