    Zabbix_agentd.conf parameters question

    Hi all,

I am using the zabbix_agent-1.8.3_installer to test installing the Zabbix agent on a few Windows servers I have. With all the relevant switches specified it installs, creates a config files and starts the service - great. I have two questions though:

If I have more than one IP specified on the only network interface I have in a box, which one does the SourceIP and ListenIP parameters default to?

I have read a few threads about pushing the agent out using a GPO. The methods used all seem slightly more complex than they need to be, I was wondering if anyone has pushed the zabbix_agent-1.8.3_installer out as a batch file (ugly) or packaged it as an msi?

Anyone have any thoughts? I've got the source files from http://www.suiviperf.com/zabbix/, how have people gone about packaging them?

It's a very long time ago, but maybe it's still usefull to you:

You can use SuperOrca to create an MST along with the MSI and put put them into a GPO. Works for me.
