Hi there,
I've set up a DM environment with one master and one child.
The goal of it was more in direction of redundancy than for load-balancing.
I now struggle witch actions.
Actions defined on the master are working flawlessly, I recieve a mail when I should
Actions defined on the child are correctly displayed but I never receive a mail.
I configured the action on both instances of zabbix, the goal is that that the child autonomously could send mails if the master node for any reason goes down.
My questions are:
1) How does actions in DM work? Should the master execute the action (send mail?)
2) Would it be possible that the child node can execute an action?
3) And the 1 millon dollar question
would it somehow be possible that the child node executes an action when the master died?
As I do not really understand, nor did I find any good clue about how actions are threaded within DM can someone share his experience with me?
Thanks,
Marc
