    Sending out an Alert for <90% CPU load

    Hi,

    is the topic even possible?
    I'd like to send out an alert to the admin when the CPU load is below 90%.
    I've been looking around for 3 hours now without luck. Is there a simple way to edit the Triggers I'm missing?

    Thanks

    Like it! Make sure that cpu is doing what its paid for

    I just tried that and this works for me, Zabbix 1.8.4:

    Name: CPU usage too low on {HOSTNAME}
    Expression: {app01.mydomain.comerf_counter[\Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time].last(0)}<90

      Much appreciated!

      I'm really new to Zabbix.
      Where can I read about the syntax for writing such script?
      Also, I accidentally deleted the windows templates :\
      Anyway of recovering them without reinstalling?

        This would be a good place to start: http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...onfig/triggers

        Not sure how to restore the default templates but would hazard a guess you should be able to modify ./src/zabbix-1.8.4/create/data/data.sql to only reload the relevant data.

        Community supplied templates are also easy to use, as is, or reference material and can be found here: http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/templates/start

          First, you need to add the item to your Windows template as per the large screenshot below. The small screenshot (At the top) is the "key" in it's entirety since it got cutoff in the large screenshot.

          Zabbix used to have all the templates available for download. Don't know if they still do. Used to be a section of the Wiki. If you still need the Windows template, send me a private message here and include an e-mail address where I can send the template.
