Updated Netapp template?

Hi,
Anybody who have an updated template for netapp? I am currently using that from the wiki, but it do not support that much on my netapp filer FAS 3240.
Else I will try one of the SNMP builder tools….

I have started monitoring Netapp but I have not flushed out a template just yet. I have not setup any snmp polling on these devices so far. I am currently polling them through the netapp api.
I am using a script that I found that was created for cacti.

You will need to download the sdk from netapp.

easy as ./netapp-ontapsdk-perf.pl <filer> <user> <pass> <objectname> get <objectname>

For example this would give you all IOPS of all volumes:
./netapp-ontapsdk-perf.pl filer001 <user> <pass> volume get total_ops

If I get a template together I will share.

I also have a 3240 I'd like to monitor. Did you put together an updated template? The one on the wiki is still very basic.

No I have not made an updated template yet. Busy with deployment of servers in zabbix. But I will get back when I have something.

BTW I am going to the zabbix conference, so maybe I should do some template begging there ....

Unfortunately not, we pure people without templates must do all the work our self
But I have just got something nice to work with the NetApp SDK and the perl script mention by justinc.
Actually I think it is a more powerful solution then a snmp template. I will post my notes and template soon, but need to do some quality checks. If you are in a big need, post me a private forum message , and I can send it to you as beta …
