    Cisco 3750 switch

    Hello experts

Is anybody monitoring (interface graphs - IN / out) Cisco 3750 switch?
If so, could you please give a hand? export the config for me? send a screenshot of the Item config of an interface? anything...

I'm using the template, which I've taken from here:
    http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/templates/start

but I don't think the graphs of the interfaces are correct. The values shown for In and Out are just to little.... I'm sure there is so much more traffic going through an interface than the values shown on the graphs...

    Thank you.

There is an error in that template. For each octet counter item, the "multiplier" in "use custom multiplier" should be 8, not 0.125. The counter reports octets, so you need to multiply (not divide) by 8 to get bps. That template reports bps numbers that are too low by a factor of 64.

I'd also suggest using the 64-bit counters so that they roll over less often; i.e in the SNMP OID use IF-MIB::ifHCInOctets (1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.6) instead of ifInOctets, and IF-MIB::ifHCOutOctets (1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10) instead of ifOutOctets.
