I resolved this issue by adding a multiplier of 1000 and changing the 'type of information' to numeric (float).

ipv4 ok, ipv6 result 0

Is there a stable solution yet?
ipv4 monitoring goes great. ipv6 returns 0.

fping6 works. no errors in the logging.

Os: Centos 6
Zabbix: 2.0.2

I fixed in for myself. fping6 was not working afterall with ipv6.

downloaded the version from: http://fping.org/
and compiled it with the ipv6 flags.

Same as zabbixhack, selinux was the culprit...
