system.cpu.util in windows 2008 R2 Standard is not supported

    Hi everyone,

I write you because I´m having troubles with my windows 2008 R2 Standard server. I can´t monitor the system.cpu.util[,,avg5] on this server. My zabbix says that is not supported, however I can monitor other things in that server, for example host uptime, free memory, etc.

    I'm using the following versions:

    Zabbix Server and Agents: 1.8.11
Client: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64 Bits.

Additionally, I have another Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64 Bits monitored with zabbix and everything is ok, I can monitor the proccessor with system.cpu.util[,,avg5].

    ¿Any ideas?

I really apreciate your help friends!!!!!

    Hello
It's the same thing for my Windows 7 64Bits.
I have installed the 64bit version of the zabbix agents.

Do you have installed the same version (64bits) of the agent on your 2 server ?

(sorry for my english i'm poor frenchie )

Perhaps the CPU is in cause.

What is the CPU's type ?

My server had a Core I7

        Problem is still here
I look at for use Perf_counter

          OK i've found something :

In your windows locate your perf_counter about processor and % time processor

to find your perfcounter on your windows server :
          >cmd
          >typerperf -qx >> myperfcounter.txt
open it and find entry like
          processor_total\% time processor

For me in my french windows it's :
\Informations sur le processeur(0,_Total)\% temps processeur

So in my zabbix frontend i put
perf_counter[\"Informations sur le processeur(0,_Total)\% temps processeur"]

          instead of system.cpu.util .....

          don't forget the ""

          Tell me if is good.

I'm not sure if the value
            processor_total\% time processor
            correspond to CPU utilisation.

Any master of Zabbix can confirm it ?

                Hi again,

                It´s my mistake,

The right command is typeperf and I got the value:

                \Processor Information(0,_Total)\% Processor Time

                The processor is not I7

                  It works

In the following URL you can see the description about your question. You found the answer but if I wanna calculate average of the last five minutes,¿how can I do it?

                    I don't know
                    I 'll search for it.

I'm not sure it is possible...

With the perf counter we can also see the write and read of our HDD.

Sorry for my typo with typeperf

In fact i've found this for the real % processessor :
                      system.cpu.util[,,]

this is working only with empty parameters
                      if i put
system.cpu.util[,,avg5] or anything like this, this is not working for this server..
