Some problems I can across with Zabbix with JMX and timezones

    1. When the web interface is accessed, time is displayed according the the server's timezone instead of according to the client's location. Has anyone found a solution for timestamp timezone localization? I know this one has been coming up on the JIRA.

    2. Zabbix templates don't play well with multiple interfaces defined on one host i.e. if you have two JVM processes you want to monitor with JMX you would have two JMX interfaces defined, but when applying templates all items will default to the first JMX interface defined.

        Hi,
I can't comment on the timezone query but have you tried using macros to deliniate your JMX instances? Be aware that I am not using 2.0 but I would expect user macros should be able to get you to where you need to be.

And remember the default templates are a jumping off point, not an end in themselves.

        David

Hence how to support multiple timezones:

Thus I work with zabbix-server in UTC, and Apache in multiple timezones.

About jmx, you may play around with zabbix-proxies, i guess. I'm not 100% sure.
