SSH test from zabbix_agent

I have disabled the trigger for the zabbix.agent ssh test, because we get the following error each time the agent test the ssh connection:

Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer

But the agent still checks the ssh port. How can i deactivate this?

Disable Item, not trigger. By the way, where do you see the warning message? I assume it is in SSHD log file.

yes, i see this messages in the system log of our machine. it comes from the ssh daemon. it seems, that the agent closes the connection to fast.
