how to do the disk utilization of NetApp in Zabbix

    Hi there,

For a NetApp filer, normally there are few volumes. I need to calculate the disk utilization of a filer's all volumes.

    From theory, the expression is:

Summary of used bytes (k) of all volumes divides by summary of total bytes(k) of all volumes

    The OIDs are:
    df64UsedKBytes[{#SNMPVALUE}] (1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.5.4.1.30.index1)
    df64TotalKBytes[{#SNMPVALUE}] (1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.5.4.1.29.index1)

    for instance 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.5.4.1.30.1, 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.5.4.1.30.2, ... etc.

So, in Zabbix, when creating an calculated item, what should the expression be?

Different filers will have different amount of volumes.

    Thank you very much!

I am not sure, but try to look at aggregated_checks and grpsum
    http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...config/items?s[]=grpsum#aggregated_checks

BTW: Suppose you know this fine template for netapp:

the grpsum is to summary the same OID with the same index of a group of hosts. What I'm looking for is the summary of the same OID with all of the indexes on the one host.

I saw that template. It discovers that OID but doesn't do any calculation.

For a volume's information, the mib has it and the OIDs can be polled directly. That's not a problem.

For a filer, if it's a 2T, it could have 4 volumes, or may be 10 , or may be more or less. For each volume, I can poll the disk utilization percent of each volume, for instance, volume 1 is 10%, volume 2 is 90%, etc. But, for this filer itself, I need to know how many bytes are used in total, and what's the percentage, for instance, 1.5T is used, so it is 75% used for this filer.

I could not make the above happen in Zabbix
