Hello,
I am working with an installation of Zabbix (2.0.5) under CentOS.
One of my tasks is to monitor some remote Enterasys switches, and to check variables such as temperature, fan state, and general hardware condition.
My first try was to do it with SNMP, and I've performed some "snmpwalks", loaded MIBs and got around with the protocol. I now have most of the checks I wanted done in Zabbix, but not the hardware checks.
I know that Enterasys units have MIBs for that kind of thing, more precisely under the ENTERASYS-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB-EXT-MIB file. I do the snmpwalk, and check the OIDs under "MIB Browser", but the checks never return information.
My models of switch are A2, B3 and C2, mainly.
I don't think there's any other way of doing it instead SNMP, but I would appreciate any help.
