    IPMI checks - sensor

    Hi Guys

Have IPMI working with a few fans and temp's and I'm trying to setup monitoring of hard drive status Discrete sensor

See image sensor Zabbix for my setup in zabbix
    and
See image sensor info for output of ipmitool

Currently getting - Status not supported
sensor or control HDD 0 Status@[192.168.123.25]:623 does not exist

    Any ideas?
    Cheers

    try the same via ipmitool

I've found that sdr lists things that I can't seem to get via ipmitool, so Zabbix probably can't get it either. Is it Dell hardware?

      Update

Got it working by adding the 0 to the end of the descreet sensor name
It is not stable however as the sensor keeps going unsupported
Will monitor using custom windows log
      It is an intel server
I am using Ubuntu 12 with Zabbix 2.2 Openipmi 2.0.18(I think)

IPMI Update - Anyone else have this

OK am back to working on my zabbix and have the following
        Zabbix server running Ubuntu 14.04.1 - Zabbix 2.4 - Openipmi 2.0.21
        Zabbix proxy running Ubuntu 14.04.1 - Zabbix-proxy & agent - Openipmi 2.0.21

        I am still getting
item "192.168.10.199:HDD_2_Status" became not supported: sensor data is not available
        in /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_server.log on Zabbix server

        then
        item "192.168.10.199:HDD_2_Status" became supported

Connecting to an Intel R2308GZ4GC system
        Non discrete sensors are stable.

Any advice, I thought this is fully supported by using the versions stated above?
        Cheers
