    respond to tick via email

    i can't seem to figure out how to respond via email to new (or open) tickets. i can only respond to tickets in the interface. which makes it difficult when i'm in the field.

    the notifications come from a noreply address by default

    Notification Master <[email protected]>

    do i need to update that address with a valid one somewhere?

    with RT i just respond to the notification email and the submitter gets the response.

    Zabbix's standard functions do not have a way to change the state of a trigger or to enter comments by e-mail.

    If you just change the email sender's address when sending mail using Email media, check the media settings.

    Administration -> Media ytpes -> Email
    'SMTP email'
