Unable to send mails from zabbix

Hi I am unable to send mails from zabbix and getting "SMTP authentication was not compiled in" issue and as per some support forum the libcurl version is 7.19 and they suggested to upgrade. So I have upgraded it to 7.59 and even after that i am unable to send emails and getting above mentioned error.

I have restarted Zabbix service as well .Please help me in fixing this

Version we are using is zabbix_server (Zabbix) 3.4.7
OS Version Centos 6.8

Please help me in fixing the issue






When I posted the same in the other forum they suggested to recompile Zabbix with the upgraded library.


So please help me in fixing this.

You can not use the function simply by updating the library.
It determines whether the function is available when building Zabbix server.

If you want to build Zabbix 3.4.x, you need the following additional steps.

# yum install pcre-devel libevent-devel

$ wget http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/3.4/rhel/6/SRPMS/zabbix-3.4.8-1.el6.src.rpm
$ rpmbuild --rebuild zabbix-3.4.8-1.el6.src.rpm

The characters are too small to be seen.
Judging by a faint range, the file you are trying to build is incorrect.
