    {ESC.HISTORY} line break

    Dear forum,

Please help to instruct me how to break the escalation history (escalation steps) to separated lines.
Mine as below (Zabbix 2.2 OpenSUSE)

    Thanks!

Might it be caused by your Mail User Agent?

Once, I struggled around with missing word wraps in emails send by actions. Finally i found out that this was caused by MS Outlook.
Outlook has an option to remove unneeded line breaks. After disabling this 'feature' everything looked as expected.

I believe the option was named 'Remove extra line breaks in plain text messages'.

You might create a Custom alertscript to render the message by yourself and pass it to your mail transfer agent.

I suggest that for analyzing your issue as well. Instead of processing the message in any way you could just store it to a flat file and see if the line breaks are missing when leaving Zabbix.
Although this wouldn't be a 100% indication because it bypasses the mail sending component.
