    Handling Dynamic Power Management

    Hi,

A simple question, on which I have been unsuccessful to get an answer to yet.

How can Zabbix handle Dynamic Power Management? If a server (hypervisor) is brought down for power saving purposes, which is managed by the vSphere vCenter, how do I prevent Zabbix of complaining about the server not responding?

We are currently running Zabbix 2.0, for what it matters. Will 2.2 be of more help, being able to integrate with VMware?

Looks like a tough one to answer. If you bring down the entire server, it will surely send out alarms.

In the machine's powerdown script, set the system into zabbix maintenance ...
