Upgrading 3.4 to 4.0 doesn't work for me

I followed your instructions to upgrade my Zabbix 3.4 to 4.0, but after completing the steps I start the server back up and it's still 3.4?

It says all of my packages are already up to date? Perhaps there's something wrong in this step to update my repository:
# wget https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/4.0/d...jessie_all.deb # dpkg -i zabbix-release_4.0-1+jessie_all.deb Please advise, thank you.

The commands you posted just install the new repo, they don't upgrade anything.

You still need to run something like:

apt-get update
apt-get --only-upgrade install zabbix*

I ran all of the commands on this page, still shows 3.4 is installed and that "all packages are up to date" ? Running Ubuntu 16.04

I ran this
# apt-get install --only-upgrade zabbix-server-mysql zabbix-frontend-php zabbix-agent Any other suggestions?
