zabbix 2.2 and agentless vsphere monitoring

    hi!

i would like to monitor our vmware infrastructure with zabbix, preferably without the need for an agent installation. the base system is the latest zabbix 2.2 under debian 7. i activated a simple icmp ping as a first test. works like a charm.

so i've added our vcenter server as new host, assigned the template called "Template Virt VMware" and provided (read-only) vsphere login credentials under macros ($URL, $USERNAME, $PASSWORD). i gave it some time, but nothing happened. did i miss something?

    please help me out.

    thanks & regards,
    hh14

edit: have you tried turning it off and on again? all my vms got discovered after a simple reboot! yay!
