Action Conditions - Using application filtering is not working

I'm currently on Zabbix 2.2.3 release. I'm trying to setup a notification action based on certain conditions. Basically, I don't want any notification is the triggers were from a certain application. I have tried using "application not like xxxx" and some other conditions. It doesn't seem to work.

    Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Do get triggers you don't want or don't get triggers you want? When you're not getting triggers, always check permissions. Can you post your conditional with the and/or clearly noted?

Basically, I'm getting triggers that I don't want. The triggers are meant for engineering.

I don't want triggers that belongs to Sybase application or the other application.

I have attached a screen shot of the conditions.

You have a classic "Or Knot", your (not b or not c) is always true. If its b, it's not c and vise versa.

Try (not b and not c)

I see what you mean. However, if I change the "Type of calculation" to AND, it will mess up the Trigger severity. So, I updated the Trigger Severity to be greater than certain value.

          Thanks for the help.

Let see if this will work.

It's odd that for triggers, you can edit the and/or and () directly if the "assistant" doesn't work out, but for actions, you can't....

I'm trying to set a policy here, sev 1-2 get email and text/sms, sev 3 gets email, 4-6 are on the frontend only.

              LenR,

I'm not sure what you mean "policy".

              Thanks,
