Zabbix Maintenance Alert

I want to configure an alert on zabbix to trigger whenever any new server is put under maintenance in zabbix. Please help me to configure the same.
Also can someone tell me if i can have zabbix generate logs for all the changes and activities happening over it. ( Addition of new Server , Any new alert configured etc ).

You may use Internal check zabbix[host,,maintenance] to receive maintenance status of a host.
