    Hi,

    There may be a conflict somewhere.
    1) in /dashboards, only keep default.erb
    2) in /jobs, only keep zabbix.rb
    3) in /widgets, only keep zabbix, zabbix_list and text folders

    Then restart dashing.

        ???

        Do you have a recent browser ?
        Does dashing work if you create a new project somewhere :
        Code:
        dashing new myproject
        cd myproject
        bundle
        dashing start

          I have the vertical dots too...

          Its not my dashing install as I use it other places too...

          I'm wondering if it's the screen cycling part of it?

          No errors in thin.log file...

            You can debug the widgets by adding :
            Dashing.on 'ready', ->
            Dashing.debugMode = true

            To their *.coffee file and restarting dashing. The output will be displayed in the javascript console of your browser.

            You need to have a recent browser to make this work.

              I've enabled the debugging...

              This is looking promising...

              Error: ExecJS::RuntimeError: [stdin]:84:15: error: unexpected =
              documentWidth = $(document).width()
              ^
              (in /usr/local/dashing/bhl_twitter/assets/javascripts/cycleDashboard.coffee) application.js:1

              ReferenceError: $ is not defined <- This points to the line $(function() {
              Dashing.cycleDashboards({timeInSeconds: 30, stagger: true});
              });

              It looks like it's the integration of the screen cycling that is the issue...

                Could you post your default.erb and zabbix.rb files somewhere (pastebin, etc) ? Don't forget to remove the passwords.

                    Ah-ha!...

                    Got it... I'd copied the cycleDashboards.coffee file, but without the indenting... Replaced it with the correct version with the indenting and it's at least showing me something now...

                      Hum, don't know if you misconfigured something with the cycling feature...

                      Try to create a fixed dashboard for "Screen 1", replace default.erb by the one here : http://pastebin.com/Hz9WXRWX.

                      Does it work ?

                        It was the indenting on cycleDashboards.coffee that was the problem... I needed to click through to get the raw data and them paste that over...

                        Is there a easy method of getting all host groups in a screen without having to specify all the host groups on a line?

                        For our use we probably don't want it cycling screens...

                          Sorted it by using the fixed first screen and commenting out the groupid filter...

                            Tatpoum,

                            I'm having the same issue with the "dots". See attached screenshot. I don't think indenting is an issue, as I have copy and pasted the cycleDashboard.coffee file and all seems well.

                            Any ideas what this would or where I should be looking?

                            Regards,

                            Dawid

                              On the github screen both where you installed the cycling screen and the zabbix application itself you need to click on the raw link and copy the contents of that screen to keep the indenting intact... Otherwise it doesn't preserve it correctly and causes issues...

                              Also in the dashing folder there is a log folder with a thin.log file in it... Paste the last dozen or so lines from that...

                                Jason,

                                Thanks for the response. I have clicked to the "raw" contents on the link and pasted that through. Indenting looks fine.

                                With regards to the thin.log, I can't find such a file or directory in the dashing folder.

                                Regards,
