Backing up Zabbix 4.0

Hello, I am a Linux Novice, and I got my Zabbix running for a week now and have added over 100 devices.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a more in-depth guide for a backup method?

If you are mysql, some people use this https://zabbix.org/wiki/Docs/howto/mysql_backup_script. It doesn't include the history and trend data, but it's a lot faster than a simple mysqldump. I found the restore time for mysqldump to be unworkable if it included the history and trend data.

I use https://www.percona.com/software/mys...ona-xtrabackup for a full backup weekly, but it has the ability to take daily backups based off the weekly.

Wesley Schaft has created a newer script which catches all the new tables added into Zabbix 4.0 it still skips the History and Trend tables.
