newbie help - how to create a history count

I'm new to zabbix, and been trying to find this thru the documentation, but I've not found my answer yet and I need to try and put this together today.

How do I get a daily graph of the numbers of a certain type of triggers across a set of systems. IE how many "x" alerts have I seen across "y" group systems laid out in count per day for a period of days.

I have found the report bar graph, and using
    "distribution of values across items"
I Select the timeframe, but in Items add,
I can't find a way to essentially do a count per day of
all "disk space less than x" alerts across all hosts in a parameter set window.
But it only seems to let me select just one host at a time.
I've looked at a count of the other report types and can't find anything yet.

Am I using the right structure/feature? Is there some place in the docs that I just haven't found?

    Thanks in advance.

I have basically the same question.

We have a trigger set up when ping fails to a host. And we have 60 hosts monitored (cisco switches and routers).

I would like to have a report of some sorts that tells me how many times ping failed at night for all devices.

Every graph or report i try to make it only lets me monitor individual items not triggers themselves.

Even trigger type screens only shows you current trigger's status , you can't put a timeframe on them.

A couple of words about triggers: you can easily get a list of triggers for 7 days (for example) , by using Monitoring -> Triggers tab. (see attached picture)

Let me know if it's not the same which are you asked about.

It seems that option has a bug, because no matter how many days i use, it only is showing me the triggers of today.

Yesterday i had ping failures, got the emails and everything, but i am not seeing them there.

EDIT: when a trigger is resolved, the value changes to OK. Whoops. I had only "problem". Thanks, this is good enough, although i would have preferred this to be done as a graphic.

You can create custom reports. Its just a reporting interface and SQL query away.

Check the forums, people have done it.
