Value "" of type "string" is not suitable for value type "Numeric (unsigned)"

    Hi,

We have created a userparameter to check the queries that are running more than 15mins.

Name:	splice long running.PNG

Size:	12.0 KB
ID:	380824

Everything used to work fine until we made a change in the parameter to support the SSL(we just added -S). After that we are not seeing the alerts and seeing the error message on the item.

Here is the item showing the error Value "" of type "string" is not suitable for value type "Numeric (unsigned)"

Please help me in resolving this issue.

    Thanks

Yeah, you are receiving an empty string as a response of your key, but your configuration is expecting an Integer, so it breaks your key. Maybe you have to check you UserParameter because it's not returning what you want.

It used to work before and we just added -S to support SSL. Do you think this one caused the issue??

Could be. What you should do is teste your UserParameter outside Zabbix, running as zabbix user, just to se what it will return.
