What is the difference between 'day' and 'day so far'?

I was seeing in Problems, that when applying certain periods, the results are the same for Day and Day so fa. Doubt is also valid for week and year.

You will not see a difference in Problems view.

Open any graph and click on the same time selectors, you will see that one displays full day till next midnight 23:59 (with no data for period in the future), while the other displays values from last midnight 00:00 till current time.

Thanks for the answer. Then it's as if these options are unnecessary in Problems View.

The time filter apparently was designed to fit all possible locations. Having two separate filters for graphs and problems would raise even more questions.
