How can I force a check?

Hi ppl!
Well, I'm trying some configurations on my zabbix, but everytime I make a change, I need to wait few minutes to Zabbix check the host... I think it occours automaticaly every 5 minutes (is it ?)

Well, is there anyway to force a single check on the host, or can I change this scheule?

I did a look into confs but nothing found .. =(

Force config cache reload using the -R option.

$ zabbix_server -R config_cache_reload
