How to monitor my ISP uptime and internet speed (download and upload)

Hi there, My ISP is pretty unreliable, and I would like to monitor the uptime and internet speed. So I am thinking about to install Zabbix in a Raspberry PI and view some charts on the browser or thru my iPhone. Which template can I use to achive that?

On which device your internet is terminating, Monitor that device WAN Interface, Thats it...........simple.

Configure the mail alert, once the internet link will go down you will get a mail and once that is recovered then also you will get a mail.

Hi there, thank you again. But how about the internet speed? Download and uploat rate? What do you suggest?
