What are the risks of enabling AllowRoot in zabbix_Agentd.conf?
I am wanting to monitor the size of folders on a NAS (disk sharing server). I want to see how much people are increasing the space used in various folders (sharing is done via samba, and the OS is Slackware). But when trying to monitor folder size, the message appears: ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED: Cannot get directory listing. Would enabling AllowRoot be the best option? Or is there another safer option? What would you do?
