Zabbix - history.get and trend.get highchart

Hi,

I'm using highcharts to draw graph. With shorter date range I can use the history.get and no issues. But longer date it takes ages for history.get to return data. so I used trend.get
When do you use trend.get ? how would you put trend data in highcharts since trend.get return max, man and avg? Do you use avg ? I would like to match the highcharts graph with grafana.
Any help or guides would be highly appreciated..

Thank you . So, if use the avg from the interval, will not miss the max and min point.

24 hours or less i use history.get which is good as it return timestamp and value but >24hours i use trend.get which return timestamp, min, max and avg. If i use avg, the graph will not show max and min otherwise incorrect interpretation.
