    How do you logout?

    The gui doesn't seem to have a logout means. How do you logout?

    Can you screenshot the upper right corner of your Zabbix web interface and post it here?

    There should be a symbol/icon that looks like the power button (semi-circle on the bottom, single verticle line on the top) in the top right corner. If you mouse over that, it should pop up a tool tip saying "Sign out".

    If you'ure missing that icon, you may want to force a browser refresh, to see if it's something with your browser.

      I don't see any power buttons that you described.

      I can start a private browser session and it forgets who I am, but no amount of cookie clearing seems to fix it.

        Code:
        ZABBIX.logout()
        Try input this in F12 "Console" Tab.
        4.0.16 frontend has no issue:

          Thanks. That worked.

          and

          now that I know where it is, when I hover the mouse there the Sign out hint pops up. Not sure why none of those things are appearing, though. I don't know enough about it, but I would bet CSS is to blame.

            Hm. Now that I know that user widget is there next to the logout, I tried changing themes. That works: it will change the theme, but these upper right icons still don't appear. I somehow think that has something to do with CSS, too. But it's not supporting my previous hypothesis. I found where in the CSS it was mentioned. Not sure how to proceed from there, though. I thought the obvious thing to do would be to search my home directory for a file by that name (icon-sprite.svg) appearing on line 277, but none appears in any directory named img.

            Apparently that should be served, though: it appears in /usr/share/zabbix/assets/img.

            I'll poke at that with a stick for a while.

              Hm. Well, that looks pretty normal. I give up.
