    Event and action message

    Hello,

    I have an action which send a mail only during working time (7:00 to 20:00). So taht the exploitation tasks during the night do not genrate an alert email.

    My problem is : When there is a real problem during the night, which is not resolved at 7:00, i do not receive any message. How can i do in order to receibve a mail, if the problem is still there at 7:00 ?

    Nobody has any idea ???

    Another way to explain wath i need is : at 7:00, i need to receive all alerts remaining.

    Is it possible ?

      Have you had a look at escalations?

      Here's links for 2.2 (you didn't mention what version you're using):





      I haven't tried this myself but I'd assume if you set the "To" step to infinite that it would start sending out notification as soon as your action was valid again.

        thanks for the answer,

        I found the solution using "maintenance period". I set maintenance period from 20:00 to 7:00 evry night. Durin this period, action do not sent email. at the end of the period, mail are sent for all the triggers remaining.
