    Import initial schema and data

    Hello Zabbix people
i'm trying to install Zabbix on a Raspberry pi and i am following the guide :https://www.zabbix.com/download?zabb...ysql&ws=apache
under "import initial schema and data"
    i run the "zcat /usr/share/doc/zabbix-server-mysql*/create.sql.gz | mysql -u zabbix -p zabbix"
and i'm prompted for the new password but afterwards nothing happens, only the "green" cursor appears.....

    What im i doing wrong?

How much do you have on oinnodb memory pool?
Try to increase that memory if you did not change default (which is only 128MB)

I am thinking that this could be a possible bug. I have ran into the exact same "hang" on multiple different pi's using multiple different SD cards. All on fresh buster installs (albeit the same image) . I too waited 15-20 min and do a reboot and continue on.

Depending on your Raspberry PI type and SD card speed, import can last from 1 minute to 3 hours (Rpi 2). Optimize raspberry with this guide and be patient when importing data.
