Frontend Does Not Match Zabbix Database Error

Hello. I am very new to programming and am trying to install Zabbix on a computer at my internship. I follow the instructions on the Zabbix website but keep running into the same error. Once I get to installing the frontend, I get past the first two sections but once I try to click next on the third (where you enter the DBusername and password and what not) it says "Frontend does not match Zabbix database." I have read a couple forum posts on it but still cannot find a solution.

I am installing Zabbix 5.0 LTS on Ubuntu 20.04, with MySQL and Apache. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Look at the messages from the zabbix server startup, what version is listed? (And does it start completely and without errors?)

Compare that to the version number at the bottom of the frontend. They should match, if not, you have an install problem. The frontend dbuser and password must be valid, the frontend has to query the database to know it's version.
