    website uptime monitoring

    Hi guys..

i'm quite new to zabbix. sorry if i'm asking some silly question. i can see that zabbix has the feature called web monitoring. i can see that it is able to show me the average download speed per second, response time and response code. However, i would like to know is it possible for me to have it showing the uptime or availability percentage for each website that i'm currently monitored. if yes, please advise the correct step to do it.

    looking for your guys advise.

    thanks.

    Hi,

i have the same problem. I want to have an availability report for web services. As far as I could find out that is not possible, because the zabbix frontend (5.0.2 at my side) lets you only do availability reports for triggers from a template. Webtests and their triggers are not bound to templates so you cant choose them in the availability section.

As the other member explained it is possible to use it-services. So for every webtest you do, you have to configure:

    - webtest and
    - trigger and an
    - it-service for the webtest-trigger.

You do this at: Configuration -> Services. See:

If you ever come to know how to do this in zabbix via the availability reports, let me know.
